I am Agronomist from Argentina, interested in the evolutionary and ecological aspects of plant adaptation to contrasting environments. Using a combination of common garden, growth-chamber and molecular approaches and the charismatic sunflowers as model systems, I study the importance of rapid evolution of adaptive traits in introduced areas, the role of crop to wild gene flow on the invasion to agricultural environments and the genetic bases of agronomically relevant traits
